The Clinton County Fair is held each year during July. It features 4-H and FFA livestock shows; 4-H non-livestock exhibits; flower, vegetable and creative arts shows; a carnival and evening entertainment. The Clinton County Fairgrounds is located on the eastern edge of DeWitt, Iowa. Buildings and grounds are available throughout the year for rental purposes.

There is a great line up of Free daily activities this year during the 80th Anual Clinton County Fair! There will be Chicks and ducklings hatching daily in the hatching display in the 4-H auditorium. The greatest Farm animal show in the midwest will be on the fairgrounds! Miller's Petting zoo with have a free pettinng zoo on the southeast side of the fair grounds next to the beef arena and 4-H Auditorium. There will also be a Baloon artist and Face painting! Monster country coloring murals will be layed out in the Comercial exhibits building daily for anyone to color it. also in the Comercial Exhibits building will have booths from local businesses set up for anyone to walk through. Local FFA chapters will be hosting fun games for young kids and families to take part in. There is much, Much more to get involved in at the Clinton County Fair!
